Creating Your Will

It may be your most important act of stewardship.

We are called to be good stewards of everything God has entrusted to us. God cares about how we pass along His resources after He calls us home, which is why creating a will or trust is so important—it is an act of stewardship. God has a lot to say about the rich blessings of family and the importance of caring for them.

Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Psalm 127:3 (NIV)

Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Exodus 20:12 (NIV)

He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. 1 Timothy 3:4 (NIV)
